Rebecca White is a second-generation Suzuki violin teacher who has been on all three sides of the Suzuki Triangle, giving her a deep understanding and unique perspective for her students and families. She is currently the Director of Pickerington Suzuki Strings, which she founded in 2004. Twenty years later, Pickerington Suzuki Strings continues to thrive, providing her students with the highest standard of playing, strong connections, and local outreach opportunities.

Rebecca also teaches at Denison University in their Suzuki Program as the co-director of their Advanced Performance Group and helps to organize and run their weekend workshops. In addition to her home teaching, she has served on faculty at the Intermountain Suzuki Strings Institute and the American Suzuki Institute for twenty plus years, as well as been an esteemed clinician at numerous other weekend and summer workshops.

Rebecca is a member of the Newark-Granville Symphony and her past playing experience includes being a member of the Lexington Philharmonic and the Capital University String Quartet.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Illinois and a Master of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where she completed long-term training with Patricia D’Ercole.

In her spare time, Rebecca loves to practice yoga, read, and spend time with her family and friends.
