The SISC Teacher Bursary is created in order to assist certified teachers to improve the quality of their teaching of Music in classrooms and ensembles. With generous contributions from Artistes International and corporate sponsors, the SISC Teacher Bursary was set up in early 2010.
Eligibility
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
Singapore and non-Singapore citizens are eligible
Currently employed by a Primary/Secondary school or Junior College as a Music Teacher in the Strings Programme
Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and be active in music
Registered for the SISC 2018 Observers programme
Document Requirements
Please attach the following documents with your application form:
Letter from the Principal/Head of Music Department of the School, certifying that you are currently under the employment of the school as a Music Teacher
Photocopy of IC (front and back) or Passport
Certificates or Reference Letters to support your application
Terms and Conditions
The bursary will pay for the cost of the SISC 2018 Observers Programme and will be automatically used to offset the SISC fees. This Bursary does not carry any bond.
The Bursary is applicable for SISC 2018 only. Future SISC events will require a re-application of the bursary.
Method of Application
Last date of submission: 31 August 2018
Shortlisted applicants may be requested to attend an interview or phone interview with the Selection Committee.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application within 1-2 weeks after their application.
